music video feedback

I am going to ask a focus group of teenage girls aged 12+ to watch my music video so far and I hope to receive some useful feedback to find out if there is anything I need to improve on to make it better and also if there is any positives from the music video, if there is anything significant which they like about it.

Here is the feedback below:

After looking through the feedback from my focus group on my music video so far, I have decided take some of the points into consideration when I continue to produce my music video. Most people said that they thought the chorus scene where Lola and her boyfriend were arguing were too long and repetitive. So, Instead of using these clips for the chorus I have decided to use a completely different clip. On the first day of filming back in October I filmed Sarah standing in front of a plain white wall with her lip synching to the whole song. This is a common feature of most pop music videos. I was inspired by Beyonce’s Listen video where in the majority of the video she is standing in front of a white wall singing directly into the camera.
So, I believe I am meeting the conventions of other pop music videos. By Sarah singing directly into the camera, especially during the chorus I think that she is creating a close personal connection with the audience. This is due to the strong emotional lyrics which she expresses through her facial expressions and hand gestures.
Most people also said that they liked the black and white effect used for the flashback scene. From this positive feedback I have decided to keep this video affect.
